Obituary for Renee Marilyn Bertke-Jensen
Renee Marilyn Bertke-Jensen passed away Sunday, February 11 2018, at the Franciscan Hospital in Indianapolis, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 27, 1974, to Thomas V Bertke and Irene B Koesters.

Renee married Eric Jensen in New Bremen, OH, on August 27, 2005. They lived in Brownstown, where her husband still resides.

She is also survived by her son James Graphenreed III of Dallas, TX, 3 stepchildren: Whitney Jensen and Tori Deboard of Shelbyville, IN, and Kyle Jensen of Lafayette, IN; her parents, Thomas and Kathleen Bertke of Montezuma, OH; brothers: Jeff (Holly) Bertke, Russ (Heather) Bertke, both of New Bremen, OH, and Patrick (Dawn) Bertke, Celina, OH; sisters: Tina Cotterman, St Marys, OH, and Nicole (Julio) Cerventas, Celina, OH.

She was preceded in death by her birth mother, Irene B. Koesters, and niece, Tanner Moonshower.

Renee graduated from Celina High School in 1993. She also obtained an associate’s degree in Business Administration from Harrison College in Columbus, IN. She owned and operated an antique store in Brownstown, called The Mercantile, since June 1, 2016. Renee was a member of the Cortland Christian Church.

There will be a Celebration of Life Gathering for Renee from 1:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday, February 25, 2018 at Winklepleck & Brock Funeral Home, Brownstown.

Memorial donations may be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
