Michael V. Allman, 60 of Brownstown, passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2019, at the Hoosier Christian Village. He was born October 21, 1958, in Seymour, Indiana, the son of the late Marvin "Bub" Allman and Barbara J Persinger Allman.
Mike enjoyed learning and being homeschooled by his cousin, Ian Martin. His days were spent reading his bible, working word search puzzles and watching football games. Attending church was always a very important part of his life. He always welcomed his friends and fellow HCV residents into his room as he enjoyed his Pepsi, Mountain Dew and Three Musketeer bars. Losing football wagers with Jack also added laughter to his day.
He is survived by his Aunt, Jean Allman Pogue, his brother, Marty W (Ellen Fitch) Allman, two uncles, Maurice L "Beech" (Mary) Allman and Chester Goss Jr.; two nieces, several cousins and friends and his mother.
He was preceded in death by his father, one brother, Raymond Mark Allman, grandparents, his aunt, Janet Goss, and uncles, JC Allman Jr. and Tom (Virgie) Allman.
The family would like to express their gratitude and love to the staff and residents at Hoosier Christian Village for the wonderful care and attention given to Mike during his time there.
Services will be conducted Monday, September 9, at 1:30 p.m. at the Easyville Church of Jesus Christ. Friends may call on Monday after 10:30 a.m. until time of service at the church.
Burial will be at the Smallwood Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Easyville Church of Jesus Christ.
