Darlene Kay Lynch, 67 of Brownstown, passed away on Thursday, June 27th, 2019. She was born, September 17th, 1951, in Seymour, Indiana, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Florence (Donnells) Sullivan.
Darlene married Mark A. Lynch, on February 9, 1978, at St. John’s Lutheran Sauers Parsonage, who survives.
Darlene was a member of the Brownstown Presbyterian Church. She graduated from Brownstown Central High School in 1969.
Darlene’s interests varied. She loved to bake, crochet, do ceramics, and sew. Her greatest enjoyment came from being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her special pleasure was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Darlene is survived by her husband, son, Travis (Betsy) Hearne, seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and siblings, Jim (Jerri) Sullivan, Sherry (Richard) Able, and Beverly (Bill) Spoon.
Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Joe Sullivan, Patricia Sullivan Baltus, Charlene Newkirk, and two sisters in infancy.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. All services have been entrusted to Winklepleck & Brock Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to the family through Winklepleck & Brock Funeral Home.
