Cecelia Merle Wallace, 76, Freetown, IN, passed away on June 29, 2022, in Columbus, Indiana. She was born on May 5, 1946, in Porter County, Indiana, the daughter of Clive and Wilma Antrim Leach and married Gary Krienhagen who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Wallace was a graduate of Crown Point High School and was a dispatcher for more than 18 years for the Brown County Sherriff Department. Cecelia was a “outdoor” person as she loved going to her creek and collecting rocks, working in her flower gardens or any activity that she could do outside.
Cecelia is survived by her daughter, Stacie Shelton and one son, Larry Wallace; one sister, Jackie (Bob) Stuhlmacher and her good friend, Mary Aspenson; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Mrs. Wallace was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Krienhagen, her parents, Clive and Wilma Antrim Leach, her son, William Wallace, her brother, Ronnie Leach, and one sister, Mary Cummings.
Private services have been entrusted to Winklepleck & Funeral Home, Brownstown, IN.
